Easy access to the south west coastal path. Goran Haven and St Austell Bay are close to Mevagissey. By car you are less than 30 minutes away from the Eden Project and about 10 minutes from Heligan Gardens. Surrounded by local beaches all within easy access, there is something here in Cornwall to please everyone. If full English Breakfast is required local café's do provide this. Mevagissey is a traditional fishing village where much of the activity is concentrated around the harbour with it's quaint narrow streets.

SHOPS Mevagissey is full of arts & craft shops, pubs, restaurants, cornish pasty Pâtisserie's, plus there are plenty of cream tea café's.

The renowned Eden Project promotes the understanding and practises the responsible management of the vital relationship between plants, people and resources, leading towards a sustainable future for all. Exotic and local plants from around the world are housed in the two huge biomes along with a tropical rain forest complete with waterfall. The Lost Gardens of Heligan is a huge estate in acres of land where in recent years has been renovated to the most beautiful gardens imaginable. Lanhydrock House and Gardens have been owned and run by the National Trust since 1953. It is the Trust’s largest property, with 50 rooms open to the public which include most of the Family’s rooms, as well as the servants’ quarters, kitchens and the many sculleries. All of these places of interest plus many more are just a few miles away and most of Cornwall can be reached within an hour.
